Unfreez

Unfreez is a program designed to help you make simple animated pictures in .gif, though if you want to do that, your pictures or “frames” all have to be in .gif first.

1. Get a whole bunch of pictures or “frames” you want to animate, use Giffy to turn them into .gif if they aren’t .gif already.

2. Open up Unfreez.

3. Drag and drop your .gif images into “Frames”.

4. To get things in the right timing, you should know a few things.

Loop Animation: Whether or not you want the animation to continue repeating or not.
Frame Delay: How long you want each frame to be displayed for.
If you don’t want to, add the same frame twice in a row or 5 times in a row (etc etc) so it’ll stay longer, though it’ll probably mean a bigger file.

5. If your done putting frames together, click on “Make Animated GIF” and save it whereever you want.

Disadvantage of Unfreez:

  • You can’t view the animated gif until you save it.

  • You can’t move the frames up or down in the little box “Frames (Drop gif files here)” So try not to mess up.
